Hello! I’m Victoria, a bridal makeup artist based in the North East of England. I’m also available for destination weddings further afield. I absolutely love weddings, and it’s always an honour and a thrill to be a part of someone’s big day!

I’ve been a makeup artist for over a decade now (which is crazy to think!). Having come from a fashion background, my style is not your typical bridal makeup. It’s a little more fashion-forward, effortless, and luxurious. I love to create natural bridal makeup that is flawless and perfectly balanced with a modern edge.

“It’s really important to me that my brides feel incredible on their wedding day. I achieve this by highlighting your stunning features, resulting in you feeling like the absolute best version of yourself.

I’m not a fan of heavy layers of foundation and huge lashes. I prefer a more modern, radiant, and natural approach to bridal makeup. So if glowing, fresh, and natural skin is what you aspire, then I’m the artist for you!

Working with Victoria to create my perfect bridal look was bliss. Make up for me is the bare minimum and very natural so I was a bit apprehensive about make up for the day. I didn't need to be because Victoria was amazing. She listened to what I was describing and gave suggestions. Together we came up with my 'look' and it was perfect. Giving coverage and having that made up look but natural. I thought I'd need lashes to make my eyes stand out on photos but she persuaded me to stick to my true self and I'm so pleased I did. Victoria is fantastically wonderful. She has previously done my make-up for a special occasion and most recently she did my make-up for my wedding day. Victoria did my bridal and bridal party wedding make up on the 2nd June 2019 and I have to say I was absolutely over the moon with everything! I spent a lot of time researching make up artists for my wedding day as I knew I wanted to feel made up, glamorous and my best but I didn’t want a heavy face of make up where I hardly recognised myself. I loved Victoria’s work, her fresh faced, pretty, enhancement of your own features totally fitted what I was looking for. When I met Victoria for my trial she was so lovely and made me feel so comfortable, asking what kind of look I wanted, giving me ideas and checking regularly if I was happy with the way it was going or if there was anything I wanted to change. what to expect

First, we make sure your wedding date is secured, making sure you don’t miss out. This is easily done online through your own client portal.

Your bridal preview

A bridal makeup preview is an important part of your wedding day preparation.

It gives us the opportunity to spend time creating a bridal look that you will love and makes you feel amazing.

The ideal time to have your preview is anywhere between 6-12 weeks before your wedding day.

During the preview we’ll have a good chat about the key features of your wedding, it helps us create a look that is perfect for you (but it’s also a great excuse to talk all things wedding).

I work with each of my brides individually, there is no one look fits all here.

We work together to bring your bridal makeup vision to life – it’s a collaboration! To make sure there’s no surprises, your makeup is applied step by step. When you are completely satisfied with your make up, everything will be recorded, ready for your wedding day.

Previews take place during the week. Tuesday-Thursday between 10-3pm and will take approximately 2 hours.

Your preview consists of one look and any reasonable adjustments.

Your wedding day

On your wedding day, I will travel to you, wherever that may be. I’ll be sure to bring my calming and relaxed personality to make sure your morning is stress-free.

I’m there to make you feel comfortable and relaxed on your wedding morning.

There’s often a lot of laughter, happy tears (often from me) and a lot of love involved in getting my brides ready. It’ll be like having a friend there to ease your nerves and help you feel incredible.

You’ll receive a morning schedule prior to the big day so that you have an idea of how the morning will run. I’ll make sure we have plenty of time to get you ready, leaving time for photos and special moments with your bridal party before you head down the aisle.

With years of bridal makeup experience, makeup is applied with products and techniques that will photograph beautifully and last from morning to night, staying gorgeous throughout.

Please note: I have a minimum on-the-day spend of £490. This may vary depending on distances and dates such as Bank Holidays.
